It was designed a few years ago before phones started getting really small, so the larger disc wont fit some smaller phones and some which fold/slide open. The larger ceramic disc measures 28mm wide and 19mm tall, but can be trimmed with scissors, although it's much tidier to trim them with a modelling knife or scalpel and a straight edge. It fit's the iPhone ok, but can interfere with the promiximity sensor, but again, by trimming the disc, this is overcome. This is explained clearly in the instructions.
