Cheers ceylon I think I'll persist with the CEO and cc the data control officer. I have a feeling they will ignore it anyway but this time i'll be more organised and be able to complain to the ICO.

We see you :-), but people may not know the answer to your question as laws are diffrent to where you are.
But Hell if you dont get the answer amend to suit you and send anyways, what harm can it do? put you in Debt? :D
If its no good for you they will bin it or return to you asking WTF - if it works let ya pals no.

Thanks a lot for all your hard work in your distributing this.
Recently I reported the loss of my mobile to the local cop shop,they took my name and address + phone number,fare enough,then they wanted my date of birth,tell me is this not unnecessary info for them and could mean profiling me, so this must demand a section 10 I would assume or am I messing with the wrong guys?

"permanently cease/delete, processing all ..." or leave it like it is?
Also if stamp and tumbprints are needed on it or it's up to me?
