A4V Page with Covering Letter Download on Main Site

Postby getoutofdebtfree » Mon Jun 11, 2012 1:31 pm

We now have a A4V page on the main site with more information, videos and a download of the covering letter, which, if your account has been upgraded, will automatically put your name into it, in the correct format.

Have a look at the page here http://www.getoutofdebtfree.org/A4V

Have fun now!

Thanks once again for an awesome site with great info.
As I am in Australia & the "cover letter" is UK type..........

[glow=red]You will find enclosed the Bill you recently sent me on which I am Accepting for Value and have Returned for Value, Exempt from Levy. This payment being an acceptable specie of payment under the Bills of Exchange act 1882. For the avoidance of doubt, the banking laws of this country (1882 Bills of Exchange Act, 1869 Bankruptcy Act) state that this is a perfectly acceptable form of payment, indeed Lord Denning has confirmed this Promissory Notes are to be treated as cash. The FSA have also confirmed this.
However, should you not accept this form of payment, then please return the Bank Giro Credit slip and Promissory Note, along with a full written explanation of why your organisation is exempt from the legislation as outlined above, or why the Commercial Instrument is unacceptable.
Please note-
If you do not return the Bank Giro Credit slip [/glow]

What would I insert for Aussie law?
And Giro credit slip is not an Aussie term.
Would I say "statement" or "notice" or 'account"????

Thanks again and enjoy the winning battle.
Cheers

Hello message on the accepted for value.
Can i ask i have created my promissory notes and letter now to send to the utility companies and credit cards.
Thank you for putting up the letter to send.
What i am wishing to know is who actually recognises this as the money voucher that it is??
Where the places in the united kingdom that actually accept them?
Been listening to the doug Riddle on this and it seems clear that the utility companies do not understand what we are sending them, they seem to think they are frivolous acts as they don't know what they actually are.
Because when i have contacted the utility people they pass me to manager, to manager, to manager, and then go on the internet to look into it!! i wish to send my A4V To the right place do we know where the places are here in England.

WHERE DO WE SEND THE ACCEPTED FOR VALUE? IN BRITAIN?

Watched the Doug riddle posted seems a good clear video.
I have copied how ceylon writes onto the slip at the 45 degree angle, made the promissory notes, now i wish to know am i just wasting my time sending the bank giro credit slip back to where they came from the power companies??
Thank you
Zeeshan
