Another update. Wageday Advance refunded the interest and charges, just over £400, on one of the two loans I had with them. Took them some time but good result!

Well done, that's great! Keep calm and carry on, that what seems to work when dealing with payday loan complaints.

Hi,

I've had many loans with QQ, Wonga and Lending Stream. I'd love to start the process of trying to reclaim the interest and charges I have paid while having to use pay day loans pretty much every month for the last 3 years. However, I'm currently trying to organise repayment plans with QQ and Wonga on active loans, should I wait until after this or go ahead and start the refund process?

Thanks a lot!

I am no expert and I am very new here, however I would just go ahead.

I was in the same boat and on the 31st of October decided to email every company regarding irresponsible lending, guess what Pixie loans emailed me today saying that they could have done more and are currently transferring £219.50 to my bank account.

I have about another 19 companies, Quickquid, peachy, quidmarket, 247 moneybox, Myjar and safetynet credit have all acknowledged my complaints and have asked for time to review it.

247 moneybox actually offered to delete their entry from my credit file on the first email, when I refused they then offered me £50 to go away, however I am chasing them for £1200.00 so they will have to try harder :)

good luck if you go for it.

If you need any help don't hesitate to ask!

Just wanted to say that after emailing 24/7 money box twice, they have agreed to remove all record of my alleged debt from my credit file, including the default (from 2/3 years ago). This also includes writing off any outstanding balance :)

Easiest one so far, I know the others wont be lol
