Hi everyone.I'm new and looking for some good advice. About 12 years ago I was taken to court over alleged unpaid council tax for my daughter, they say she was living with me when she wasn't etc etc. It went to court and I lost . Anyway long story short I've moved house since then but periodically baillifs have turned up and now its started again. They've been twice in the last 2 months and this last one says : 'Your debt has been passed to us by the above client (council) and we intend to recover immediately. You can avoid this being passed back to our client for consideration for commital to prison. Pay immediately' etc etc . You get the jist but I don't know what to do.Sorry about the war and peace but I'm a single mother in my 50s' and this scares me. Any help much appreciated.
