After reading a bit on the site I decided to try and take some action with regards to around 5 debts due to sb in the next 3 months

Sent the letter 1 to Lowell for 2 outstanding debts

Both came back before the 10 days closing the account

£857.00 zero but not removing default
£3800.00 zero and removing default in 4-6 weeks

Have cap quest and Cabot left to send letters to

What was the reason for not removing a default may I ask? Did you counter their argument with a follow up? I would.

they can not close the account and still report on your CF this is a breach of the DPA I had Lowell done for that with the ICO. report them to the ICO.

I would send them a contract and notice them with an invoice for damaging your credit rating.

i send 3 lleters and estopel to vodafone a default of 920 pound and no response and they dont delete my default from my credit file what i can do?
