Promissory Notes

Postby Justagirltm » Tue Jul 10, 2012 6:00 pm

In order to deposit a promissory note into an account I suggest these steps:

Phone all banks not branches (head banks) and ask that you would like to open an account with a bank but you are looking for the best bank.

First verify they follow bank acts and then inquire about the bill of exchange acts and then ask about promissory notes. You will most likely be directed to someone higher who doesn't know about them which they will bring it to the legal department. MAKE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND YOUR COUNTRIES LAWS ABOUt thEM. Hopefully you will be able to talk to a bank manager of their main branch (head branch) in which you will deal with directly and they will deposit the promissory note for you. From my experience they are going to want to know what you are going to do with the money.

REMEMBER-don't back down, keep reinforcing the bills of exchange act and your rights, they know if they gets to the head banks and they are caught not doing banking lawfully a HUGE LAW SUIT can be on their hands along with a media frenzy HOWEVER DO NOT IN ANYWAY OR FORM bully them or or say you are going to sue them, be CONEGINAL! remember no one has utilized these in a VERY LONG TIME, remember you ARE TEACHING them too :)

I know Im not a mod and have no right to tell you what to do, but could you please keep this part of the forum to success stories only because this is one area of the forum that I really like to see something new posted and its quite disappointing when it turns out to not be a success related post. If I was a mod, I'd ban you straight away!!!! :P  just kidding!

Hi Martin you do have a good point there, but think about what you would do if you were new to a site and you were reading the success stories, if a thought of sending a message does occur to you, you may be so wrapped up in that thought to realize you had to select a specific forum to post it in, mistakes can happen, I am sure it wouldnt have been intentional.

When I first found this site I was sceptical having been ripped off by so many theiving Creditcard/bank/building society/debt consolidation agencies etc, I was at an all time low. I was even on an IVA. What I discovered from this site is a new Me, I re-grew my Balls so to speak. I learned that I had an opinion, I had a voice, I didnt say no as many times as I said yes!... With the aid of some very special people on this site such as John, Ceylon, Mescallito, and far too many other amazing people I have met on this site, I wish I could give everyone the credit (Damn I hate that word)[in this instance I use it under Common Law Thinking]...

I made mistakes on here, some times real Booboos! But I have learned from this site and the mirriads of sites shown as links through all the amazing features of this site. I have taken on many creditors, the sum total I have dealt with is a little over £33,000.00p
That is a success story in its self.

I would wilingly help anyone here that needs it, I understand mistakes happen when we get all excited its a learning curve.
Peace to you Martin, I send My Highest regards to all active members on this site and wish everyone total success in their ventures

Dave

Hi Dave.

Just a thought. Being new to a forum doesn't necessarily mean new to internet forums in general.

However, point taken.. I've made these kind of mistakes myself and I suppose most of us have...so, I agree.

I did try not to sound too much like a D*** to the OP tho... but its not easy in text. hehe.

thanks :)

Yup same here Martin.
I hate using the i-phone for texting and general internet stuff, I tend to use it just for phoning, sending very short texts to friends and reading e-mails. It can take ages to compose and edit or alter a text message/ forum reply, on a mobile phone in order to make it sound more personal and give comprehensive explanations to questions asked, so I tend to just read my e-mails and respond to them later when I get home and am able to use the Mac.
At one time I also used the i-phone to answer messages on this site, but as I often had to give brief texts it caused confusion on a couple of topics so I stopped doing it.

I am fortunate enough to be able to use all my fingers and thumbs for typing, I learned to touch type over 35 years ago, courtesy of HM Forces. At least they taught me one thing of value haha.

Best regards from Dave.
