My sister got a phone call from a very nice man a few days ago. (shes in her late 60s) Well shes one of these that dosent trust ANYONE thats good. He told her her computer had a viras and if she loged on and put in lots of info ie bank card details ect he would fix it for her. It took over 30mins but she keeped him on the line she finnaly had to tell him she thought it must be a scam where upon he ashord her it wasnt (another 5mins) ......... To cut along story short.........She told him she had not got a computer and he had wasted his time thank very much good bye. She a great sis that dunt lick con men. So lets all be warned about them...............PS dont phone her if your phone credits low

That scam still going around? I had that one last year, my computer was in for repair a few days and the stupid phone call, told that the computer I had on now had a virus and it could be fixed, I said when did they trace this virus on my computer, he said we checked on the last opening this morning, clever buggers I said it is Sunday and the computer repair shop is still awaiting a spare part and the shop is closed, also a new computer on order is being delivered 2 days time, now feck off.
