i got a ticket last week even with the parking notice on. I sent it back with 'refusal for cause' again. In reality, how ever you send it back, it does not matter. Any methods they could ignore and take it all the way to the bailiffs. The end result is sending a denial of access. My car is securely in my garage so they are not able to even try to clamp it, but i did see it in some other thread there is a way to get rid of the clamp.

I have received a parking eye ticket...what nxt?

Postby brainsuk1 » Wed Aug 22, 2012 12:32 pm

Hi all, I hope someone can help. This is going to be me losing my virginity and fighting back the system. I have just had through my door a letter from Parking Eye car park management Ltd. It has a picture of the front of my car when arrived at retail park car parking and rear of my car when leaving. They state I was there 2 hrs 18 mins with only a 2 hr limit for free. It's a £70 fine. Can someone advice me as to whether I just write 'NO CONTRACT' on it and send to them or do I need to do something more detailed? Many thanks

Private company so bin it and forget it. A bit different with council or police.

Yep - echoed. Bin it. Its private land, Only the landowner could ticket you (but only for damages!). Third party "agents" have no rights over you.
If you want to have a little pop at them. Ask them for a written confirmation letter from the landowner that they act on his/her behalf and that they are duly authorised to affix shit to your windscreen. Personally, I just put them in the laugh and tear up file. :D

I now have my own version of the parking notice in my windscreen. Anything attached to my screen is deemed as "abandoned" and as such, a storage charge now applies. blah blah blah. Works in my home town as I have never had a ticket yet despite parking on lines and without a pay and display ticket.
