I am B excellent stuff.I've been doing stuff like this for nearly 4 years now and NO-BODY as ever got a penny from me or taken me to court because of an alleged debt, apart from once when I had to back down on mortgage arrears, but that's a long story.I have always said that the FIRST letter you send em sets the precedent and really kills em off before they know what's hit em.Everything after that is just talking bollox on pieces of paper. Brilliant pal,and the longer it goes on the less chance of a result for them. :D 8-) ;)

Hi I am B all good i likewise just like the peace of them backing off and leaving me alone, our paper chase is better than there's, they have only fear once we have conquered that they have nothing. ;)

Thanks fellas :)
I had a letter from Westcot a couple of weeks ago saying that they had referred back to the lender (sic) and action had been put on hold.
I just sent it back NCRTS as i do with everything from any of the "lenders" now.

I think it used to; not sure about now :? (remaining silent that is).
But i agree with you; after doing the 3 letter process and various billings i got a bit peeved at the amount it was costing to send "signed for"; plus the time it takes up. But it IS a superb process and steep learning curve-i wouldnt have had the guts to go straight in with NCRTS if im honest. Now is a different story though-it just seems appropriate somehow considering the way they think they can lord it over people and try to scare them into compliance.
The other thing with my situation is that im NFA so that certainly helps with regard to confidence (if you dont mind being NFA that is  )!

You'll be fine; just dont let them put the firghteners on you. I used to dread getting post, then it got to getting mild butterflies in the stomach to now when i get slightly irritated that they dont write (only kidding on that last one as its really a blessed relief!) :D

As ceylon said. If i use NCRTS i dont put opened in error on the envelope after ive had a look at the contents. I do put it on though when using "Addressee not recognised" which i use now and again :)
