That's one reason I don't want to give HSBC any more of my money (in charges), due to their transactions to terrorist groups, as I'm probably helping to fund our soldiers getting their limbs blown off. Time to pull British troops out of Afghanistan, as this war is unwinnable, and is wrong, but it''s the politicians to blame NOT our soldiers. Haven't we got enough home grown terrorists here that need sorting out? If HSBC won't send me the maths at how they've arrived at that figure along with a signed invoice, and proof I have a legal/lawful obligation to pay the alledged debt then I won't .

Doesn't this map of HSBC's reach remind you of something?

Yes Pickled Onion, I am in the same situation as you, I have witheld payment for loan, asked them to show me validation, proof etc, they have just ignored everything. steamrollered over my requests, bombarded me with threats of what they will/can do if I dont pay. The bottom line is I am looking at my credit rating scuppered, but as I no longer use debit/credit cards, remove my salary from the bank by cash, I dont need/want their credit. A credit rating only means you are worth something to the system and a valuable commodity for them, if you have a bad credit rating, personally I think you are better off! But I guess that is my own personal opinion :|...I don't see why we should have to submit to legalised criminality, I would have resisted Dick Turpin too, at least he had the common decency to wear a mask during his crime sprees

Might be an idea to get your cash paid into a Building Society (or even a Credit Union, if that's possible) where the bank can't touch it....

Make sure that there's a different spelling in your name so they can't trace you....

They are devious so we can't we be... we can bend the law as long as we don't break it...
