Barclaycard - My story

Postby Joolz » Sat Feb 11, 2012 2:38 pm

First letter sent to Barclaycard on 6th February 2012

Today received a reply (attached)

They seem to think that I want a copy of my 'executed agreement' and refer to s.78 of the CCA 1974
They have enclosed a reconstituted agreement, unsigned.

They have also written to me in the format John-John:Bloggs rather than my strawman.

I am now going to send Letter 2.

Do I need to refer to the fact they have sent me stuff I didn't ask for?

Do I need to be concerned that they have not written to my strawman?

I have now had a response to my second letter

Which is identical to the first 3 pages posted here:
http://www.getoutofdebtfree.org/forum/v ... 29&t=29697

In addition pages 4 and 5:
Response to Letter2_page4.jpg

Response to Letter2_page5.jpg

Notice on page 5 they state 'they do accept the changes to the terms and conditions or the proposed fee schedule' :D

Is there any cause for concern with page 4 Certified Copy of Contract Documentation?

Thanks

Just a quick update.

I have now sent all 3 letters and they are saying as others have reported: no basis in English Law etc

I have been billing them :D

Now I have had the first letter from Mercers, so about to send large bill for re-assigning the debt and start the 3 letter process with them

Now sent Estoppel Notice

Have received letters from Mercers (strange as they are a dormant company  )

Have sent letters 1 and 2 so far and also sent a Denial of Access notice with Letter 1.

If i got a letter from a dormant company, i would make many copies of it, take out any details pertaining to the NAME / ADDRESS / amounts and any reference numbers.

send copies to as many tax offices as i could around the island without any postage and put on the envelope

Dormant company trading investigate

Address

and send copies to the taxalliance group also see how they get on with this.

no return address
