Postby ibrox88 » Thu Jul 07, 2011 8:51 pm

I received a letter from Lowell recently and I just have t go round to sendin an invoice/bill to them but they are now saying they may take money from my earnings? Is this possible? Surely not without court?

I think that they may have committed some sort of offense by saying they can do something they cant, I.e Garnish your wages without a court order. There are far more intelligent and knowledgeable people on this site than me, I am sure they will let you know if this is so. Perhaps it would enable you to include the threat of legal action against them. I just kept on with the letters, ignored the bullshit the companies sent me in return, as it was not what I asked for. I hate complicating things at my age.
