Lowell, the £110k Bill & the complaints department!

Hey guys

Still progressing with Lowell. They get more & more polite as you go along. The alledged debt was for £1182.24 - Shop Direct. I am using the standard 3 letters and began by sending letter 1 on the 5/9/11. I am keen to get this first one wrapped up by sending the estopple but they keep replying to my bills, thanking me for my letters!!

They backed off totaly on any threats after letter 3.

Does anyone have a link to the denied right of access note to send off. I figure its a bit like a frag grenade to throw into the mix!

Latest invoice to them is for £110,546.72.

I got this in reply:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear Mr...................

Thank you for taking the time to contact us recently, we have fully noted all the points you have raised.

I can confirm that the complaints resolution department now owns your complaint and will be conducting a thorough investigation into your concerns. Upon completion of this investigation we will write to you again, with our resoultion.

Before we have reached a resoultion we may need to contact you again to update you with the process of our investigation or to request further information, the easiest way to do this is via telephone, if you are happy for us to do so.

I would also like to reassure you that whilst our investigations are ongoing we will place your account on hold, which means we will not be carrying out any collection activities, untill your complaint has been resolved.

We have enclosed a copy of our internal complaint procedure for your information. Please take the time to read this, as it explains fully the steps we will follow in responding to your complaint.

In the meantime, if you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact my team by calling the free telephone number: 0800 542 0058 which brings you directly to the complaints resolution department.

Yours sincerly

its not a invoice its a BILL

did you have the extra bit on the letter at the top ie
"This is NOT a complaint a query a request for a statement or agreement and is NOT to be treated as one.If you treat it as one you agree to pay £5,000.00 damages."

if so take them to the small claims court after sending a notice of fault and oppertunity to cure then a default notice then N1 part 7

Hi Ceylon

I have in the last week started using Bills instead of Invoices. If I am at invoice 004 with a dca then swithch to Bills can I continue at Bill 005 or do I have to begin 001 but with the running invoice total?

As for the extra bit at the top, I have been using that for about 1 months now. All 3 of the letters to lowell were before I was aware of the extra bit.

I felt there response was a good for me. Do you think otherwise?

Cheers

yes bill 5

no seems ok but if you had used the other bit you could of just made £5,000.00 from them
