Now you have them in tacit tell them you are making a formal complaint about their procedure i'm doing same for one of mine about how they tried to deceive me here's a copy of letter but deleted the companies because have not sent it yet

You contacted me through a company called ? a company that is registered as dormant with links to ? then you had H L Legal Solicitors contact me. I wrote to 1st company making a Subject Access Request but they ignored my Subject Access Request sent to them (beacause they are dormant) instead I got a response from dca about my Subject Access Request sent to 1st company. HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE? This must be a breach of the Data Protection Act Then you contact me for an alleged debt owned by ?. This is a CRIMINAL ACT known as ''Gaining a pecuniary advantage by deception'' and more than likely FRAUD as well. I will be making a formal complaint to all the relevant bodies.
You have failed to provide the documentation I asked for. I do not have an agreement with you. You have also not given a breakdown of any account details in full, which is required by Law

we can no longer freeze your account and intend to pursue the balance with immediate effect. as such we cannot hold and phone calls or letters with regard to this account and ultimately this account could be passed to our litigation team who could consider appropriate legal action."

I just wanted to know if anyone else has ever received this letter and what's the next best move to take, I am incredibly grateful for all the help and support given on this site
Thank you all.

Thats a usual tactic from debt collectors.I personally would do not reply to them. Just bill them again next month. I just billed them today so I am gonna have fun with these fuckwits :D

I decided to not bill lowlife again but after almost a month they have contacted me again explaining they have now passed my account over to Red debt collection services and a week after that I received an all to familiar letter from Red where they 'politely' list the ways I can pay back the debt. I feel like I am just being passed around to different companies so am I right to just start the 3 letter process again with them?

Well that is the option that people here are most accustomed to using.
Some more fearless souls in it for fun (I include myself) issue notices to cease and desist or letters thanking them for clearing my alleged debt or simply return the letters 'addressee unrecognised' which is by far the simplest approach. ;)

This is interesting lambchop, I tried to search "how to sign" but no results, do you know where the string about making your signature different or putting lines through it is?

Also, if its got to the stage its not with HL, should the first letters be going to Hamptons, or the previous Lowells?

Hello to everyone.

Well I managed to send the three letters and having heard nothing from Lowell in the thirty days following sent the Estoppel Notice.
Now, three weeks after sending the Estoppel Notice I receive a letter saying that they have requested relevant statements and that there was no need for me to contact them. :D

Well how very kind of them to attempt to do what I had asked for all along. ;)

I'm presuming that I can now send them an invoice for the letter they have sent.

Just wanted to make sure before I started.

Thanks to everyone.
