I have been fending off Lowell Financial on behalf of my son (who no longer lives here).
The 3-step letter process was all executed and all correspondence sent tracked delivery etc.
They kept writing back from a different location (Bristol) compared to the original (Leeds), but I kept responding to the initial correspondent. Their only response has been to claim that they are trying to get "Account Statements" from Barclay's and that my letters are form-letters from the internet and mean nothing (whereas their "form letters" mean everything???).
On receipt of their last letter I sent them an invoice for £500 for my administrative time to respond to their harassment and a warning that if they continued I would take them to court.
I have not heard anything further since my letter of the 2nd of July. Is it too soon to be celebrating their defeat?
Do they actually ever write and acknowledge that they have "given-up"?
Regards,
Dan.
