have been batting these away for quite a while with regards to an ancient tesco card.

i sent three letters as usual.

they just keep writing BS letters and are wasting my time and energy. Latested two letters i have billed them for.

they will write again i know they will - there is some mention of further things i can do/write in the letters to make them go away.

does anyone know what these things are that i can add in to my bill - they have had estoppel too - but they keep writing - so i think i should just keep billing them - but is there an extra bit i could add to slam them?

all the best :D

I've been dealing with two accounts with one lender - one Visa which was passed to RMA in Preston for collection and the other Mastercard which was passed to Credit Solutions in Surrey albeit both sets of correspondence bore the same signatory!
Having been at this for three years and also attended a seminar organised by the Bollingbrooke Institute I tried a different tack when RMA were passed the account by Mercers who had received the three letters! Instead of sending letter 1 I sent a 'notice of rejection of invitation' followed subsequently by a 'notice to cease collection activity' in which I made it clear of the consequences of further contact.
Today I've received a reply from the parent company's 'European Compliance Manager' acknowledging receipt and duly noting the content of my notice dated almost two months previous. It concluded:
Please allow this letter to confirm that the above account was closed on 15th May 2012 and returned to our client. Please contact our client directly.
If you have any questions or wish to raise concerns relating to how your account was handled then please do not hesitate to contact me....
Whilst this is not a success directly attributable to the well-tested and reliable method suggested on this site I have posted it because it demonstrates the effectiveness of not giving up your power and excercising your right not to do business with anyone in an honorable manner. Respect and consideration at all times even if you abhor what these people are doing."I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word in reality".
