Thing is, what do you do? If you don't vote you'll still get someone you don't want and the whole EU thing rolls on. I read somewhere - not sure if its correct (I suspect it is!) - that being registered to vote means you are tacitly agreeing to abide by anything the government tells you and abiding by their laws (statutes). I suppose you could just spoil the vote by putting a cross in each box or something, but it still won't change anything.
I guess unless we get something like lawful rebellion active, we are buggered.

Hi, I too am thinking of not voting. Does anyone else know what other problems this would attract? Any party that gets in never seems to make things better so I'm giving up. Maybe I should vote EDL or some other like Raving Loony Party. At least I would still be on the register but labour or cons wouldnt get my vote. I don't want to be tracked though as I feel this is one way of them finding all about you.

not been on the vote register for years and never will.

if your on it wether you vote or not you are consenting to the system, dont care about loans or mortgages any way.

want matter after this year.

those that vote or are registered cant moan when shit happens, only those that have not consented have the right to moan

I've not been on the register for years i've even had people knocking on my door tell me i have to, i just ask by what law ect and they bugger off, but my name is on the role...so if and when they want to make something of it then i'll ask who committed fraud and well see how that goes 8-)

If you ask the Eurocrats the question: "Why do we need the EU"?

What sort of an answer will you get, a load of bullcrap?!!

One party system, yes our political system has multiple party personality syndrome!

I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case, I have never voted nor will I ever though till this year I'd always been on the electoral role.

Had an old lady visit me after I ignored their form, I told her to turn up with whatever lawful legal force she needed to qualify I had an obligation to fill her form and I've heard nothing since except another envelope the same as the first. That was months back. I do not want to contract with our government; a new government sure - as long as we the people are truly the ones in control not those who played the biscuit game at Eton to win a political career.
