Hi Folks,
My efforts have not received any reward, as the MAN said 'and some fell on stony ground'.
I sent a Prom Note (Recorded Del) to Yorkshire Bank Plc; with NOTICE TO PERFORM on 22nd May 2012.
Still no response of any kind. Maybe the 7 day rule will apply.

I received a very quick call from the HSBC branch manager to inform me that a letter has been put in the post, she wouldn't say anything else and she couldn't get off the phone quick enough (call lasted 1 min 3 secs)

So, let's see what this letter says when it arrives, remember, she made me a guarantee and you all heard her say it! (among other things! MANY other things!!)

Stay Tuned!

I bet it gets lost in the post

HSBC PROM NOTE UPDATE 4th July 2012!

I know you're all waiting for it (this thing has turned out to be more popular than I thought it would be, I wonder why? :D) We're currently working on the next installment. I can confirm that a letter was received today. (Exciting :D)

I'd advise that you check www.clickingmuse.com in the coming days (could be anytime between tomorrow and monday) as that's where updates will appear first.

I'm no good at mystery and suspense so I'll just say "You're gonna Love It!"

It's great to see beings putting themselves out, whats worrying is that some are waiting to see what happens with this before they do anything....... I say go out there and give it a go, experiment with your own style of getting it accepted.......BOE notes are only pieces of paper .........

the banks rely on only a few doing things like this so that they only have to fob off these guys, the more doing it the better for everyone. the banks won't be able to fob everyone off, and they can't give the same answer to different questions.....eventually they'll have to give in and honour them as they are supposed to .......
if you want more bank tellers to see your side of the story and do the right thing, they'll need to see more promissory notes coming in to be remotely curious about it to do some research on it themselves.

you got nothing to lose....

Yes i will try it, what i want to know is that a prom note is a conditional promise to pay at a later date unconditionally, so does this mean that if we are blacklisted or have a bad credit this would go against us?

At a later date or on demand; however, do they honour their own promissory notes? When did anyone last get a Pound of Sterling silver off one of these crooks?
