Child Support Agency should do what it purports in its title. There is no real support for the children , they are never really involved in the process. My children never stood a chance , they lost any avenues of access to their father and grandparents etc, they had to suffer the heart ache of separation with no hope of enjoying the love from the absent father and family members. No mention of this by CSA. Many lives have been tarnished by CSA. It is purely a money institution with no right to call itself the child support Agency. How can it be correct to concentrate solely on money and not the rights of the child? When they took 65% of my wages direct for 2 yrs before I went self employed I asked where the child support was to protect the child that lived with me from a new relationship , they werent the slightest bit interested. When it came to losing our home and affecting our home life financially as more money was going to children that I had no rights over and who i couldnt see due to the whims of a manipulative ex wife. I told them the child living with me was suffering as a result , pointing out to them that they are the child support agency, you know , what about this child = not interested. My opinion definitely not a child SUPPORT agency except in title only.

well albonga you sure aint a father or mother.if you are a mother or father then is it because your ex doesnt give a toss in general about there children.ummm.seems to me as though you have been disillusioned some what of the process of having children.
some parents dont care about there offspring but most do and the c.s.a.are not at all interested in the childs welfare,they are a run for profit organisation that only care about getting there dirty paws on the absent parents money for there own profit.
familys are destroyed by this organisation.i suggest you keep out of this thread.you have no clue as to what you are talking about.

Hi all, my husband owed CSA money and they took him to court which he said he didnt know about. They went ahead anyway and took about 3/4 money from his wage which when added up was left with only about £3 per hour for 40hrs hard labour on nights. The stress of it all made him go off work sick and they even took it from his company sick pay. When he had been off 6 months he had to go on statutory sick pay and they couldnt then touch it. During all this time we went to see our local MP who wrote to the CSA to try and get the payments to a resonable level as we could hardly pay the mortgage, but even he couldnt overturn their decision. They are a law unto themselves. The only way to get them off his back was to take out a loan which was ok at the time as he went back to work cos the stress had lifted and now was only paying around £50 wk instead of £230 wk.
There was no help from anyone at all. not even Citizens advice. Surely you would think they cant try and get back £9,000 in 2 years!! But they will try. (Don't know where they got the figures from). But im not suprised people go off the rails and commit suicide. There should be more help I do think men get a raw deal.

They had me pay back £9800 in two years over monies they said I owed , I took it to court at the time and then at court a ''nice lady '' ???? from the csa and her csa assistant took me into a side room prior to the hearing and told me the judge was already willing to agree to a two year payment period , to help me keep my home from having to be sold to pay the debt. I agreed and I didnt go into the court room , I paid it off on top off the current weekly assessment they had made. How stupid was I at the time, my only defence is that I was in a suicidal state at the time and had given up the spirit for anything so to speak.
But i'm stronger now , and gaining knowledge rapidly, glad that suicide phase in my life is over, but wish I was in the same batle with the csa as I would of relished giving them a hard time. Remember dont get moralistic or personal , the csa is a business and they dont care about children let alone you and your husband.

Actually a little bird told me albonga stays in West Lothian Scotland. And his issue is, he himself has no kids but his partner does. Of course being a pathetic LITTLE self centred, know it all (not) he has an issue. The issue being, in my opinion, he has a "morbid possessive personality" (check psychiatric literature for definition) relating to his relationship with his partner.

The kids father is simply challenging the CSA PLC involvement in his private affairs, He has previously been hounded by the CSA resulting in him having to leave a job a few years ago as he couldn't afford to work due to the unreasonable not means tested charges levied against him by the CSA. He is now working again but is challenging the CSA's uninvited offer to contract, more like they’re insisting. The CSA is a PLC company no different from MacDonalds. But give it a little more time as they are on their last legs.

His reference to the father reneging on payments is a lie, as far as I’m lead to believe, and I’ve absolutely no reason to doubt this, the father has offered to pay any/all lawfully owed monies in full. The father is simply challenging the CSA's involvement in his private affairs. The fathers Ex of course wants the CSA to pursue him, no surprise there then.
Finally the LITTLE twisted albonga, being the overly jealous type, supports putting the father through hell, indeed contributes to this as much as possible.

Now then, that's the storey the little bird told me. I cannot say how accurate it is and only the names have been changed to protect the identities of the piece of horse manure referred to herein.

LOL, Good call!! We have to stand up to the fraudulent system, it is a run for profit company at the end of the day, they are not interested in the children whatsoever.

I was watching BBC Watchdog, a father was giving £466.90 a month to the CSA and his ex received 90p out of that money, when she rang the CSA they told her it was their computer system causing the error and they cannot override it (yeh right!), she told Watchdog that the most she has received out of the £466.90 a month is £1.30. The father can't give her the money directly because she has involved the CSA and the CSA will go after him for not paying them. It's a joke and a scam for the goverment to coin in as much money as they can.

A friend of my mine is being stung by these bastards and gave him the idea of trusts,
If he sets up a trust for his children and puts in slightly more than the state give in benefits to his children and gets it notorised and put on record at the county sheriffs office,then i cannot see why he can't sack the CSA as surplus to requirement and thanking them for all their work
As once the money is in trust it no longer belongs to him but his children have use of it and as trustee he has control of the use of it (so any jelouse ex has no control) it seems a possible way forward.

The CSA has been under review since nov 2011 with a view to scrapping it. The are transitioning from the CHILD MAINTENANCE ENFORCEMENT COMMISSION blood thirsty debt collectors back to the CSA and charging for their services.

Part of the debate has been that parents should be left to sort it out themselves. Unlikely! with the increase in unemployed parents. More cases for the secretary of state to preside over

I have simply told the CSA PLC I’m not contracting with them, I don’t consent, they have insisted however iv'e informed them any such contract will be under duress and threats thus rendering the contract void and null. I've also told them under such circumstances given time, a change of government and or the peoples will = power via common law, I will in the future pursue them for damages under tort law via common law jurisdiction.

Further to the above, I offered to pay my ex wife monies via the, GOODF albeit modified three letter system. My Ex didn't respond to any of the three letters so she is now in tacit agreement by way of her Acquiescence, like it or not.

The CSA have put a Messenger-at-Arms on to me issuing fatally flawed paperwork. I’ve told the CSA I will take out a private prosecution under a Common Law Tort, for the tort they have put upon me, unless they remove a fraudulent Liability Order. We’ll see what their response is?

The fight goes on but people should not give up. To put this into some kind of personal perspective, I only have a part time job of which I’ve been of sick for a year, due to an extreemly life threatening illness. The first six months my employer paid me less than half wages sick pay, i got no additional benefits. The last six months due to austerity cuts the fu**ing benefits people have refused to pay me anything at all even although my ill health.

Meanwhile my Ex makes in access of 34K per year and her f*ck wit partner makes in access of 24K per year. Yet they are unbelievably entitled to benefits e.g. child tax credits and income tax credits,,,, yet I’ve to pay them!! I’ve been assessed to pay them £40 per month from a small private pension I receive. I don’t get any money from anywhere else and because I’m sick, not unemployed, I staill have to pay my council tax, which combined takes care of my small pension.

It really beggars belief. I'm near sixty and have been unemployed for approx two years in my entire life, working since 15yrs.
The only advice I give to youngsters now is don’t worry enjoy your life and don’t get caught up in worrying about your future government / pension. They'll take the money now yet pay you nought when you’re at your most vulnerable.

The thing is though I’m really angry at myself for being fooled into believing in the system over the past years. Not for the past three though I’m truly awake and doing my best to inform others. If only I had known about all this when I was younger, lol. I’d have been a true rebel, probably been doing time by now ha ha. I am aware there are many much much worse off than I and I can only empathise with them and truely hope this corrupt so called government and system is replaced by something non political or big government. Perhaps somthing people friendly, honest and not corrupt, if their is such a thing.
