Hi,
my wife and i have 2 financial loans in both our written names
1) a citibank loan - now moorgate loan servicing -- final payment expected feb 2013
2) a barclays loan - linked through a conservatory company -- final payment expected june 2015
both unsecured.
and finally a HP from Comet -- santander -- for 2 electrical items
payment in full expected august 2012
how would we alter the letters for the 1st two joint loans?
with regard to the hp would the electrical items be forfeit?
thanks in advance

i see a few views but no response ..
ok
erm
Who should i write the letters addressed to Comet or Santander?
n.b they sent us a letter saying they forgot to send us the welcome pack which by all accounts includes the copy of the agreement. By their crappy t&c we have 14 days from receiving our copy of the agreement to withdraw. :S What a fine mess.
also this is a doozy
"ending this agreement
we may demand repayment of the full payment you owe us if you
a) you break this Agreement regularly or seriously, die, become bankrupt or ... "
rather than die lightheartedly?? dicks

we got a loan from Citibank in 2008 and were informed by letter a few months ago 2012 that Britannica Recoveries acting on behalf of Britannica-Metric had purchased the Loan and now Moorgate have been employed as administrator.
I am guessing that Citibank have allowed part of itself to become insolvent and started selling off its books.
Clearly the debt we 'agreed' has been paid off.

a final note -- as i will be dealing these companies but 2 names on the accounts, would my wifes actions on behalf of the name listed nullify the letters i.e
i write the letters, send them off
my wife answers the phone and speaks to the company
is there any tactic to use in order to remove my wife from the proceedings or can i claim all authority over both written names in regard to these companies if my wife authorises me???
basically i dont want my wife to have the bother.
