Good Luck with your Ebico fight matey!.

I have had no end of trouble with the so called 'ethical' company Ebico.

I only went with them because of their 'simple' pricing/billing plan!.

At one point they rec'conned' I was using £115 electric a week! (1 - 5" fish tank,a fridge freezer on 24/7,and a P.C. running 12hrs a day does not come to £115 a week!),they then sent round someone to check the meter, the guy said the meter was over 30 years old and only fit for the bin,so they took the old meter out to test it properly and fit a new one, they then said their engineers found no faults with the meter so I still owe them over £700 even though the new meter says I am using closer to £15 a week.I am now paying them £50 a fortnight and cannot swap providers. If anything THEY owe me money.

I put the above on their Facebook page, needless to say it was deleted in seconds!.

I HATE them!

Thankyou for the support, the recent reply I received will be shredded as it's only a automated response for not paying, say in a couple of days of receiving the bill so will wait until their response is stronger, then I will deal with them.

This today's reply to the A4V and Promissory note, I don't know if I should now use the 3 letter system or wait for a further response from SSE Company. And as per usual they have not returned the Promissory note and A4V posted to them, plus they have thrown their toys out of the pram straight off as they don't want to discuss the complaint even though I'm only trying to discharge the debt, on my mothers behalf.

This is a copy of the reply that SSE are talking about in the above letter that was included, before I joined this website and was stuck back then to answer them at the time so we paid the money.

Just a few questions Ceylon as this is my mothers account and I need to reassure her due to her being anxious, about what may or may not happen, just trying to cover all bases,

1. If gas people do change the meter to prepay meter, is it possible to change it at a later date i.e if the debt is paid in full?

2. Would it cost my mother money to change it back once the debt is paid off?

3. Would this affect the council, i.e them going after my mother due to the meter being paid for by the council so there for
affecting tenancy agreement?

4. Can the meter be changed if we move companies once the debt is paid?

5. And again would that cost my mother money?

Thankyou for your help
