New MOT rules may trash your car

Postby guardianofwithinaolcom » Tue Apr 10, 2012 12:19 am

I am the wind that rustles the leaves, I am the heat from the Sun, I am the waves that crash to the shore, I am ME, The Guardian.

As much as I adore Nature, feel part of Nature and at peace with Nature, I still dislike Bull_Sh*t.

Wont affect us folks that dont consent to their rules.
This is only my opinion, in no way is this legal advice, you can take it or leave it.

They build these electronic parts so they have a chip which makes them brake down after xxx miles to force us into being perpetual consumers. For years I drove an old austin a30 which i didn't have to pay tax on and was a breeze to work on according to my OH. The guys at the MOT station loved seeing it, and it never failed. :D

I have a K reg Mitsubishi Gallant 2.0L GLSI hidden away in a garage, This is a pretty simple car to work on too, it used to kick the Proverbial out of XR3's in its day. I am thinking of using is as My Common Law right to travel conveyance of choice. It has been off the road for about 8 years. Not a scratch, dent or anything on the gun metal grey bodywork. Would be good to drive the old girl again.
