Ok just had a letter this morning from resolvecall saying they are no longer dealing with my account and have sent it back to Barclaycard. And that was just after receiving the first tacit letter haha, but I'm still carrying on with Barclaycards in house dca Mercers, second letter due out on Saturday, so I take is this is how it goes, being passed around from one to the other, which eventually only ends up in a stale mate.

Yes Repper I got the same letter today ... can anybody look into their crystal ball and tell us what's gonna happen next? I'm quite shocked at how easily they backed down!

Right then ... just sent letter 3 to mercers but no letters from them for nearly 30 days ... same with barclaycard ... can i send the estoppel to mercers when i send barclays theirs, assuming i don't hear from them in the meantime? I'm still amazed at how resolvecall backed off so quickly and no mention of a MR. on the letter or envelope too. I thought all this was based on US law?!?!?

At the 30 clear days, send to them estoppel recorded delivery. once received by them signed for, any communication from them after the receipt day start Billing them.

sorry i forgot to ask if phone calls count as contact ... I never answer them and if I do pick up on them by accident I do little security questions on them and say my person wants the matter to be dealt with in writing and hang up.

I'm just about to send an estoppel to a DCA, but I'm NOT following the copyright/trademark method and the example of estoppel on the DCA on your page has copyright etc on it inculding £1000,000.00 for infringement of copyright. Do I leave the TM and copyright characters off and omit the million pound sterling infringement numbered 5 in the estoppel. Thanks

Edit out the items that do not apply, add other things that you might want to apply. In other words its personal to you. THe more you personalize it the more it will show it is not just a template letter from some idiot that hasnt bothered to read what he has typed.

Just my opinion and in no way legal advice...
