The Commonwealth Bank Australia

Postby RyanHart » Fri Apr 06, 2012 3:57 am

Hi, Does anyone have any experience with the Commonwealth Bank in Australia in regards to Personal Loans over 25K?

I would appreciate any info on this topic.

Thanks to all,

Just a bit more info,
I am in the process of drafting up my first letter to send off to the commonwealth bank in order to clear up a personal loan of a little over $25,000.

I was looking to see if anyone has dealt with the Commonwealth Bank and if this bank plays by the same tricks as all the others.

Cheers to all,

RyanHart.

I've dealt with NAB, Citibank, ANZ & AMEX. They all use variations of the same theme. ANZ are the most pathetic. They send back your original letter stating your claims have no legal basis etc etc. So I send them back their original letters with my letters. They all tried a variety of DCA. ANZ even tried a solicitor before the DCA. The solicitor dropped off after one letter. NAB last letter stated that they have assigned the debt to a DCA, so I return any letters addressed to the NAME - NO CONTRACT RETURN TO SENDER written on a label stuck accross the address window. I do not open the letters. So far so good. I dont get any phone calls anymore. The dca for NAB tried calling a few times but the NAME was never there.
