HELP - COURT ACTION WARNING

Postby yevrus » Wed Jul 11, 2012 9:17 am

After coming on to this site yesterday I was all ready to send a copyright 1 letter to the Halifax for a 18k credit card debt I have had for years and years which started with Bank One, who sold their book to the halifax maybe 10 years ago. Before coming on to this site I was advised to send them a letter asking for my credit agreement and accounts and paid them £1.

I Had a previous umblemished credit history unti last year when by business went south. I have been on an arrangment with halifax for last 10 months and have paid agreed amount each month. All of a sudden I recieve a Letter this am from Blair Oliver and Scott who are demanding the full amount for there client and may instruct a door to door agent to come and see me and also court action may be taken. Lovely people............I thought we had an agreement??

My credit score is already taking a hiding this year becaiuse of circumsances so I do not have much to loose with this. Should I try and continue making the monthly payment we had agreed?

Who should I send letter 1 copyright to, both, or just one of them?

advice really appreciated

yevrus,
having read your posts and your PM, it seems that you may need some thinking time before you embark an anything...there is no shame in trying to come to an arrangement...until you,ve had enough yourself...

Both I suggest. Recorded delivery every ten days. i.e. Bank letter to Halifax
DCA letter to Blair
