computer illiterate

i am just starting with computers and am having trouble putting my info into the template letters. can i write them out by hand? all the best to ye

I don't see why you can't although it would be pretty laborious and potentially hazardous if you failed to copy the templates verbatim. I would also think legibility is crucial and of course some errors would mean starting from scratch.
The other pitfall I see is the need to keep photocopies/carbon copies of each letter which could be lost/destroyed. With electronic copies of course they can be backed up, stored securely and accessed readily.
The template letters are pre-populated with your name and address so there's not a lot for you to amend - have you given it a go?

doing them by hand is the best way as it shows you are a living being, i just do it by computer as i had a lot but either way is ok
