Bill them, they may send more letters, if they do Bill them for them as well. If they try to be clever and try to forward action you have a counterclaim which they no doubt run from.

Always a possibility, but you would have a counterclaim if you start sending them Bills for their letters etc.

Most DCAs etc run and sell an alledged debt on rather than face a possible large Bill from a court case they stand a big chance to loose.

And another point is why did a Business not just take you to court at the beginning if they have the correct documents and save themselves money, always a question, is the alledged debt enforceable/unenforceable?

Hi,

After all letters inclusive, my “Estoppel Notice” they send me a letter inform me that they are chasing client for copy of signed agreement.
Well, this was at some point in June, I have invoiced them for 2 million and never got copy of the “signed agreement” or any other letter from them.

However now I got a new letter / new chasing from a company call “ROCKWELL – DEBT COLLECTION AGENCY”.

They are chasing the same Debt… they are working for “Arrow Global Guernsey Limited as previous debt collection company (Fairfax Solicitors).
I note two different things… 1st is that “FairFax Solicitors” mail me with reference “ to Mr Jorge P Soares” and “Rockwell” mail me with reference “to Mr Jorge Soares”… I don’t know if is there any implications but on both cases this is not my birth certificate name.
The other thing that is let me a little annoyed is that they got my work number, I do not know how. However, I decide let them to know that the person that they are chasing / looking for is not on this number, technically is true because they are looking for a Mr Jorge Soares, and on my birth certificate name is different.

Any way, I will start the process again with 1st letter… the “war” is not finish but looks like “FairFax Solicitors” gave up nor is “Rockwell” turn.

Any help / comments are welcome… thanks to all for support.

Regards,

Jorge

Hi ceylon,

Should I bill "FairFax" Solicitors because they pass my details to other company? and t same time start process of 3 letter for Rockwell?

Please let me know if I understood correctly... this is what should be done?

Thanks
Jorge
