'solicitors' response to letter 3

Postby thealchemist » Tue May 08, 2012 5:21 pm

I am dealing with an alleged solicitor and have done the 3 letter process, to each letter they have wrote back vehemently denying that we are in any type of agreement, and basically reams and reams of typed crap saying they dont agree with anything in my letter, basically they just cant answer any points.

So, in response to letter 3 they have asked me to send £1.00 statutory (?!) fee to them to get a copy of my 'agreement'.

Fact is, I alrealy have a copy of this!!

So, do I offer any response, or just ignore and await estoppel???

I would bill them as per letter 3
THEY SAY SLAVERY HAD BEEN ABOLISHED EXCEPT FOR THE CONVICTED FELON............ Y'ALL NEED TO THINK ABOUT THAT... (ice-t)

correct and you must have 30 days of no contact by them before you can estoppel them

Hi Ceylon,

A question..

I have sent the 3 letters to solicitors and was intending on sending on estoppel now but they sent a recorded mail to my mams house(loan originated from that house even though they know where i live...games) the other day.So do i take it i did not receive anything from them and send on estoppel?

Also after billing the bank that was chasing me they have decided to send onto solicitors..do i just start letter process again.

Thanks
Al

Ceylon,

Just got the attached letter...what do you think?
I didnt even know they were seeking judgement...if its real!!
They seem to think i am the only one in regards to this debt...i am only 50% but they are obviously just chasing me.
Is there anyone that has dealt with letters like this pls give advice.

Thanks
Al

treat soliciters same as debt collectors have they given u proof of contract if not they cant chase u for debt if you done letter registered post,, ring your watchdog and complain about them harrasing you after you asked for proof of debt and they sent u nothing but r still chasing u

Hey Stoneybroke,

I do everything by the book re registered post etc...
Should i contact the property reg authority re this being illegal?
I am not even sure who they are and what powers they have?

hopefully many will read this post im learning this is a weapon that many dont use every countrie has a watchdog which lays dlown guidlens or regs for these dcs to abide by such as how many phone calls per week what they can threaten eg court action etc and when u send a letter as in the 3 letter process asking for proof of contract assingment etc the fact is they cannot pursue the debt if they cant give u docs etc within a certasin time frame as long as u send registered post and have proof u sent it to them i have gone down this path 5 days ago and i am not allowed as yet to post what i would dearly love to post re the responce from the watchdog all i can say is study the consumer credit code for your country or even ring them and ask them what they can and cant do u will b amazed at what they r doing wrong and this is your oppertunity to not only get the watchdog to bite thier leg off but a opens a door in the court room to get your caSE THROWN OUT AND POSSIBLY SUE THE PANTS OFF THEM WOOPS CAPS LOCK THATS THE STRAwman coming out in me
