Starting Out on my quest!

Postby gibx33 » Sat Mar 24, 2012 12:01 am

Hi all

This is my situation work has been going well until now work is just dropping off and i cant find the money to pay my Barclays personal loan, Barclays business loan, Barclay Card, Capital one card and Lloyds tsb loan. The total debt comes to around £26000 and it is costing me a grand total of £770 per month. I cant cope with it any more! So its time to play the game i am going to be opening new bank accounts for personnel and business transfer all my rent, utility bills and so on to my new account and not pay a penny more into Barclays or Lloyds when the new accounts are set-up.

I will then start the 3 step letter process to all my creditors and hope for the Best PLEASE feel free to advise me on what i can exspect and how to deal with them as i am trying to get my head around this it has not clicked yet! :?

Many Thanks!

So When i get started the ultimate goal is to not pay them a penny more in repayments? It is very frightening is this system as good as going bankrupt. I have no asset's i rent my house and own nothing of real value. I suppose they cant take what i don't have!

It will take some time to set up, is it best to stop payments now as i have a new current account with a different provider?

your choice either stop now and wait or send letters now and when they dont give you what you have asked for then stop

To stay in honour, I would suggest writing letters and then stop paying if they don't send what you want. (Which they won't). They may well send you a copy of your CCA 'agreement', but that is not what you are asking for in the letters. You can expect lots of phone calls, but these can be stopped if you inform them in the letters that they are acting unlawfully by harrassing you. Good Luck.

It is so great to see more and more folk challenging the banksters. :D
