The right to own one?? Do you mean a tv or a licence?! Either way, ridiculous.

Stop paying. Tell them you no longer need a tv and then send them a denial of access. See the other threads on this. There is also a template available, in the General section I believe. If you can't find it you can send me a message with your email address and I can email it to you.

Yes debtis,Dee is correct.Deny them,or take away any pre-conceived idea that they have automatic access to the place where you live,by using the simple notice on this site.Cheers ;)

Are you saying that they withdraw you the right to own a telly or reciving equipment or a licence to view?

If its the last then agree with them and get it in writing. If you cant own one then they cant fine you for not having one.

If its the first two then ask for it in writing. Only then can you make a good choice. But in the end you will be stopping them from coming on your property and not paying the bill, as they have given you the choice of non-payment and no licence. Can you show us the letter?

Owning a tv is ok - it's what you intend to do with it that matters! :D

Most important thing I've learnt is that you do not have to communicate with TVL in any way, shape or form
