Debt Purchased

Postby iwanttolearn » Thu Jul 12, 2012 11:50 am

Hope someone can help me out here cos im in a fighting mood now. DLC or hillsden securities purchased my debt from barclays for an unsecured loan, any it wasnt paid so after purchasing my debt they have made it null and void, where is the section that explains this please? I have called and recorded a telephone conversation in which i have told them my debt is null and void as they have purchased it, i have also given them a notice to remove the charging order or i will charge them £45,000.00 if it isnt removed within 7 days...I think it has been way over 7 days now so i will be contacting landregistry to see if it has been removed, if it hasnt im going for the 45 grand.

Any help please.

for starters stop referring to the alleged debt as your debt, even when speaking to them. Dca's don't buy any debt, they buy the rights to collect a debt. It's only a debt if you agree with the dca that it is. So the dca got a judgement and then a charging order?
