Today I’m sitting in my office at work and my wife calls me to say some man had just knocked our front door and asked to speak to myself.
First he asked for me, then he asked for a contact phone number for me and then because my wife refused to give him any of them he handed her a letter and asked her to give it to me.
Once he left she opened the letter and then called me.
She says the letter is from Resolve Call Ltd and just a few simple lines saying I should call them on 0844 257 8571 to discuss my account with them.
News to me that I actually have an account with them 🙂
Now I do not owe any money to anyone and have no outstanding credit agreements with any company so I’m assuming that this has something to do with the ongoing ARDEN matter.
Now Arden / IDEM servicing have not told me they have sold this thing onto another debt collector but as I can not think of anything else I am only assuming here.
Weird how they are based in Scotland also.. :/

They are just using these muppets to pretend the collection process has escalated and is now serious and you should pay up, that’s all, smoke and mirrors.
Apparently Arden /Idem have employed resolvecall to give me some doorstep harassment anytime soon, I cant wait, if they think the threat of some tosser coming around to talk me into paying them money I don’t owe them is going to change anything, they are morons.
Nothing you tell Arden / Idem computes with them at all, it not worth talking to them, anything you do say will only go against you.
I am going to answer the door and say sorry never heard of him,,,bye,,,the visit will cost them a few quid so I do hope they come. 😆
I called these muppets today and gave them the reference number on the card.
After giving my name, address and DOB for security I asked them whatbit was about.
The guy confirmed it was MBNA from ARDEN CREDIT.
He passed me through to woman who started the questions again. I told her point blank I had gave details once and would not repeat myself.
She informed me she could not help or talk about my account if I didn’t. I informed her I was happy with that as I didnt want to talk to them anyway.
I then continued to tell her to stop sending people to my house. Any further contact will be my mail only. I then hung up.
After opening my mail I seen a letter from resolve call. It stated Arden had not been able to contact me and I should now contact them or they will send more people to the house.
Send this if you wish:
FAO: Whomever named on letters or contact person.
After an unwarranted and unlawful visit by your doorstep agent on, [date], I require all calls from your Doorstep Collectors/Agents to cease unconditionally and with immediate effect.
Please note that there is only an implied license under English Common Law for certain people to visit me on my property without express permission; the postman and people asking for directions etc (Armstrong v. Sheppard and Short Ltd  2 Q.B. per Lord Evershed M.R.). Debt collectors and their agents are NOT an exception in the eyes of the Law, no matter what you may believe to the contrary, which is merely an opinion and not valid in English Law.
Take note, I revoke license under English Common Law for you, or any of your representatives to visit me at my property and if you do so without my permission, you will then be liable to damages for a tort of trespass. You would also be conspiring in a trespass if you sent someone to visit me nevertheless. Any trespassers you attempt to send therefore will be dealt with accordingly.
Under Financial Conduct Authority regulations, the following also applies:
7.9.14: A firm must ensure that all persons visiting a customer’s property on its behalf act at all times in accordance with the requirements of CONC 7 and do not:
(7) visit or threaten to visit a customer without the customer’s prior agreement when a debt is deadlocked or reasonably queried or disputed (see ■CONC 7.14(Settlements, disputed and deadlocked debt)).
If you ignore this letter, I will have no alternative but to report you to the FOS and FCA for their records, and any unauthorized doorstep visitor representing your company or from your agent, will be arrested for trespass.
I hope I have made myself absolutely clear on this matter and that failure to comply will result in serious consequences for you – under employer/employee vicarious liability – and your company.
Should keep them from sending anyone out again, and if not, call the police and have them arrested for trespass.

So I printed off the letter above from Faljay and sent it off to resolvecall on or around 27/28 December.
How funny when I returned home from work last night and found a letter from resolvecall.
It states “My account has now been returned to our client”. LMAO…
What’s very funny is resolvecall have mentioned in the letter that I should contact MOORGATE LOANS SERVICING direct as resolvecall are no longer dealing with my account.
Firstly Resolvecall have never dealt and secondly the agent who passed my details to them was ARDEN/IDEM not moorgate. I guess it just proves what a bunch of dumb morons who work for Resolvecall to get something so simple wrong.
One more moron out of the way and a DCA kicked over the conversion posts.
