How Can I Get Out of Debt?

With a simple legislated debt solution you can consolidate all your debts into one lower, affordable monthly repayment. Make one set payment per month for a set period, and after the period expires any remaining debts left are legally written off. This can be up to 90% depending on your circumstances.

I don think the oz system is too much different, its part of the commonwealth and (correct me if I’m wrong) run on a charges system.

Info from the states is good for education but it must be translated into your district, which can be time consuming.

Rohan Lorain and Romley Stewart seem to be at the forefront in the world down under, ill post a link to their you tube channel, this should open some doors for you.

As far as the three letters, some people choose to use them some use a different method. Do be thoughtful about your own specific situation as everyones is different.

If your thinking of using them for a mortgage, read this first viewtopic.php?f=109&t=64335

Hi Speedmaster06,

When you download any of the documents, be sure to go through them with a fine tooth comb to uncover any references to “pounds” instead of “dollars” and unifying all references to currency to “Australian Dollars” eg AUD$1000.00.

BTW, yes I used the word currency instead of money quite deliberately. Unfortunately this thread is not the place to go on about the difference (and there is a major major difference) here. I will do a thread only on that subject a little later.

Hi everyone!

I’m also having trouble as I can’t find how to log on to the Australian version.

I have downloaded the letters to send to my bank. Obviously I have to change the currency to AUD but I’m curious as to whether I have to change the titles of the Acts to suit the Australian system/Law. And if so what do I change them to?

Alternatively if anyone has links to the Australian documents that would be greatly appreciated!

Hi all,

I have recently joined ‘getoutofdebtfree’ and cannot find the Australian website version. There is only the ‘UK’ flag showing. Can anyone help?

Has anyone had success RE: Credit Cards?

I have downloaded the ‘Australian’ eBook and there are different acts to look at in Australia from the UK letter #1.

1. Change to; – The Bills of Exchange Act (1909) );

2. Change to; – The Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006 (Cth) (AML/CTF Act).

3. Change to: …may constitute ‘harassment’ in which case I will be forced to take further action under The Trade Practices Act 1974 (Cth) and/or the Australian Securities and Investments Commission Act 2001 (Cth).

Is it possible to get the “Bank & Credit Card” letter templates from anywhere?

1saberwow replied:

Faljay have posted some new template letters and the billing part was removed as that did not work. If you search faljay’s post you should be able to find them. Or ask williams if you cannot find them. Not sure if they were for debt collectors or the banks or both.
